This Chinese RuYao tea set, with its unique design and exquisite craftsmanship, offers a feast for the eyes and touch for tea lovers. It made of original high-grade kaolin clay, and fired at high temperatures, with natural crack patterns on the glaze. This pattern is a glaze defect on Ru porcelain that occurs during high-temperature firing, which has been skillfully transformed into a natural and beautiful decoration by craftsman. The cicada wing pattern is more delicate and orderly than other crack patterns such as crab claw and ice crack, resembling shiny fish scales. This pattern is complemented with the glaze, adding rich visual layers and aesthetic connotations to Ruyao porcelain. The intertwining light and dark lines, like cicada wings stacked together, give the tea set surface a unique beauty and durability.
