    The Japanese Southern Gongfu Cast Iron Teapot originated from the water cooker in the Tang and Song Dynasties of China. It spread to Japan and was more widely spread during the Meiji period. Each cast iron teapot was elaborately made by a senior craftsman for more than 20 days from design, carving patterns, molding, making spout, painting to delivery. Therefore, the color of each cast iron teapot is more or less a little different. The body of this cast iron teapot is carved with auspicious totems, such as swastika patterns, With some Zen, it adds a touch of ancient charm.
